Washburne Public Calendar

Concert and Symphonic Band Winter Concert. Students, please report at 7:00pm in Concert Dress. Performance starts at 7:30pm. We will be unable to host the traditional after-concert reception this year, but we suggest families do a celebratory after-concert Graeters/Homers/DQ visit to honor the first live band concert for one and a half years. PLEASE NOTE: due to a state-wide mandate, audience members need to wear a mask while inside Winnetka District #36 buildings.

BAND MEMBERS CONCERT DRESS (our version of a team uniform):
- white collared dress shirt or blouse
- black skirt, dress, or pants
- dark socks and dark dress shoes
- IF wearing a collared dress shirt, a long tie of any color.

Premier Cadet Band and Jazz Ensemble Concert, 2022-2023. 5th grade beginning band students perform their first concert together! Students, please report at 7:00pm in Concert Dress. Performance starts at 7:30pm. Jazz Ensembles close out the concert.

Music In Our Schools Month combined performance, District 36 Bands from Skokie School and Washburne School. All District 36 Band students meet together to share a performance, celebrating the National Association For Music Education (formerly MENC) Music In Our Schools Month.
This practice and performance will be at Carleton Washburne School.

Washburne Jazz Ensemble and Lion Jazz Ensemble perform. WJE and LJE members should arrive at 6:30 pm for warmup, in concert dress - white collared dress shirt or blouse, black pants or skirt, dress socks and shoes, long ties if a student chooses the white collared dress shirt. This performance is held in the Little Theater.
