Join the Skokie/Washburne PTO Exec Board

 

We meet monthly with all four principals to provide feedback and collaborate to create enriching opportunities, and to support our amazing teachers and staff. It's a great way to be 'in the know' at our middle schools and get to know other parents! 

 

Positions to be filled: 

  • (2) Vice Co-Chair roles: 2 year commitment, 
  • (1) Asst. Communications role: 2 year commitment, 
  • (1) Asst. Treasurer role: 2 year commitment and 
  • (1) Secretary role: 1 year commitment. 

We also need parents to join the Nominating Committee to help fill these Exec positions. To nominate yourself or another person or to join our Nominating Committee, please email Lauren Osborn: lauren.osborn@gmail.com. **The Nominating Committee will meet at Hometown on March 2nd at 1:00 p.m. All candidates will be notified of their position by Friday, March 20th.**

HOW DOES THE RAFFLE WORK?

Each child will receive 1 raffle ticket for every $25 they raise in their Advisory Fundraising page.  Top fundraisers will also have the opportunity to “Pie-a-Teacher!” A treasured experience for all!

A.B.C.D (Artists Benefitting Cats and Dogs)

May 14 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM

On Thursday, May 14, from 5:30-7:30 PM, the Skokie School will once again host a benefit art exhibition to showcase two student collections and raise money for Orphans of the Storm.  Students have just begun another round of animal portraits for the spring benefit. All proceeds will go to Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter in Deerfield to help them update their aging facility. Details on the campaign we are taking part in can be found HERE.
