I am hopeful this message finds you well and safe. With Governor Pritzker’s announcement last week regarding the Illinois school closure mandate extended through the remainder of the school year, the lunch program has removed the relevant orders through the end of the year and credited parent accounts. In respect and support of all the small businesses serving our lunch program and our community at large, we have honored the lockout period for order placement and cancellations. A credit balance reflecting the cancelled orders along with a detailed accounting will be found in your accounts and can be managed in one of two ways.

  1. You can request a credit to the card used for payment of orders. To do so, simply sign into your account, click on the “Settings” button at the top, and then the refund option in the “Account” box. The refund can take up to 5 business days to appear on your credit card/in your PayPal account. Each account is eligible for one free refund request to the linked credit card. Each subsequent request is charged $3.00 to cover the cost incurred by the credit companies. http://www.myfooddays.com
  2. These balances can simply be left in your account for future use (helpful for parents with children at Skokie School next year). You will not need to actively manage your lunch account this year. When you place your order next year, depending on the balance in place, you will not need to enter credit card information to secure your new order.
